The Results are in….. No matter whether you are are a full eco warrior or a reluctant fleet vehicle convert there is enough electric vehicles on the road today for you to have developed a brand preference or a favourite model.
Tesla undoubtedly brought popularity to the electric car and made us think twice about owning one.  Suddenly the thought of a rather stylish Tesla in the driveway was more appealing to us than we had envisaged electric vehicle ownership to be. When our traditionally favourite petrol brands started to bring us alternatives to the Tesla we suddenly realised we did not have to give up good looks to save the planet, brands such as Jaguar and Mercedes and Nissan all putting forth their offerings.
The market has now matured and our most popular brand can be ranked by the consumer recognition.  Surveys have shown that the most popular models of electric cars and undoubtedly the models we most often see is supermarket car parks is the Nissan Leaf according to a survey of website DrivingElectric.
Finishing close second were the Tesla Model S and the Jaguar I-Pace SUV.
